The horizontal continuous casting graphite mold (Horizontal Continuous Casting Graphite Crystallizer / Graphite Die) is the core forming component for the horizontal continuous casting of copper, brass, bronze, oxygen-free copper, aluminum, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. It is composed of a high-purity isostatic graphite liner + water-cooled copper sleeve + sealing positioning parts, directly in contact with the high-temperature molten metal, responsible for shaping, uniform heat conduction, sequential solidification, self-lubricated ejection, determining the surface finish, dimensional accuracy, internal structure and yield rate of the cast billet, and is the "heart consumable" of the continuous casting line.

Semiconductor Grade Graphite

Working principle: The molten metal flows into the graphite cavity, and the external water-cooling jacket quickly and uniformly dissipates the heat, forming a stable solidification shell. Combined with the pull-stop-push process, the rods/tubes/blank pieces are continuously pulled out. The graphite has high temperature resistance, low expansion, self-lubrication, non-sticking to copper, and high thermal conductivity, which avoids defects such as scratching, mold sticking, slag inclusion, and shrinkage cavities.

 

Structural composition
Graphite mold body (core): Made of high-purity isostatic pressure graphite, divided into the inlet section (hot end), shaping section, and outlet section; it can be in a monolithic form or in a segmented combined form; for rod materials, it uses graphite sleeves; for pipe materials, it uses graphite outer molds + graphite core rods.
Water-cooled copper sleeve / cooling shell: Wraps the graphite outer layer, has internal cooling water channels, ensuring uniform heat exchange and stable temperature control.
Separation ring / sealing components: Separates the steel ladle / intermediate ladle from the graphite at the inlet end, preventing leakage and oxidation.
Positioning / fastening components: Flanges, covers, heat insulation pads, ensuring coaxiality, preventing deformation, and facilitating disassembly.
